Hi I'm having trouble making a dark forest green? Any ideas? It's for fondant icing and I live in the uk so ideally no brand names as I probably won't be able to get them here!!! I would like it to be as realistic a colour as possible.
Thanks icon_smile.gif

Try mixing yellow and blue together to get a green and then darken it up with a touch of red and add more blue, a little at a time and you should have a nice green. Good luck!

To me, forrest green has more of a yellow cast to it so go a bit heavy that way.
What green color do you have on hand? Maybe you just need to use more of it w/a touch of yellow.
