Hello
I always have icing sugar residue on my fondant specially on dark colors does anyone know how can I rid of it to get that professional look?

I dont want to use a steamer
I really appreciate your help

You can dust it off with a soft brush or rub a really light coating of shortening it will make it shine. Steamer works best though.

I just use a soft paintbrush, it has worked great so far!

I just had this happen to me on a cake I did this week - black fondant was discoloured from corn starch. I used a damp brush to add moisture to the fondant and once dried it looked great. Not too much water though, it will get tacky and needs time to dry.
