Steamer For Making Fondant Shiny?

Hi, I just wondered if this would be the right kind of thing to steam fondant to make it shiny? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-HAND-HELD-QUEST-POWER-STEAM-CLEANER-STEAMER-1050-WATT-CAR-HOME-CARPET-1050W-/130712186011?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item1e6f0dac9b
Or do I need a specific type or head to go on it? I've wanted to use steam for ages but never gotten around to looking for anything!
Thanks in advance for any help!
That steamer looks too powerful. I have a small handheld clothes steamer (I think it is a travel steamer) that I bought at WalMart. You don't want the steamer melting all your fondant.
If considering an all purpose steamer, get a demo before buying if possilbe or a specific model/brand recommendation from a happy consumer . A lot spit out water, darn annoying for clothes and cakes.
I actually used my regular steam iron when I had something small that I wanted to steam on a cake. I really didn't want to run out and buy a steamer for just a small area and I had never tried it before either. It worked great. Wouldn't want to have to do it on a large area of cake but for something small, it was fine.
Thanks for the tips think I'll give it a miss then. The iron is a great idea! I don't have an airbrush yet :/ they really intimidate me for some reason. Think I'll Dave my money and invest in one of those instead!
