My local cake decorating supplier finally has several flavours and I wanted to try the strawberry with a cake I did recently. I have to say this was the best strawberry SMBC I've made. It was fantastic and the icing fruits taste amazing. The container says it will keep for 6 months unopened, but will only keep 30 days once opened. I don't do a lot of cakes right now. I'd hate to and up having to throw it out in a month if I don't use it all.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure if I can be helpful, I'm really not familiar with the product, but could you just make a couple big batches of icing? It may freeze better already made up, frosting+fruit better than just the fruit alone. Idk though, hopefully someone more experiaced will be able to weigh in.
