Just went to buy some candy melts at Michael's and noticed two changes. One, Wilton now seems to be offering some seasonal colors, like black and electric green, full time. Two, the bag size has changed from 14 oz. to 12 oz., which can make a difference when making candy clay. Wanted to share with the group.

Ugh! I really don`t understand the idea behind this. Is 2 oz really going to make a difference to their bottom line?

Like everyone else in the corporate world they are trying to keep the price down by trying to fool people with reduced sizes! All kinds of foods are doing this - Wilton is joining the rest of the greedy people out there.

They're just trying to stay in business so we should follow suit and either downgrade our sizing charts or charge slightly more for each slice.
