I am looking for a great moist chocolate cake recipe. I have tried several recipes even one by the Cake Boss and it was very dense. If anyone has a good recipe for a moist and fluffy cake I would appreciate if you could share.

I make alot of cupcakes for my grandkids and I hate it when I give them a dry cupcake.

Very frustrated,

I use Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate cake recipe on the back of the can. It's not 'fluffy'...but it is moist. and delicious. Makes great cupcakes. The batter is very thin so it's best to pour into your baking cups.

thanks carmijok for the suggestion, I never thought of that. I will have to give it a try.

Thanks again,

I have tried many, and my favorite is the Deluxe Devil's food cake on the Softasilk box. It is light and moist, but not too dense and fudgy. The recipe can be halved or doubled without any problem.

I use the one on the can of Hershey's too. So delicious!
