Can You Refridgerate Cake Batter?

My oven element burnt out and I was halfway through baking my cakes.Can I refridgerate the batter?

I freeze my leftover cake batter so I don't see why you couldn't refrigerate it. Just give it a good mixing once you're ready to use it.

Oh wow! Didn't think that would work! I am glad to hear that it does. Will definitely have to try this next time as I usually bake what's leftover and we eat it. Not great for a weight watcher! icon_biggrin.gif
