Does cake decorating ever get easier? I feel like it takes forever from the time of baking to finished product! Just putting a basic white frosting takes me an hour ... Maybe im doing something wrong???

It truly does get easier. It may sound silly, but there are muscles that have to acclimate. I've been decorating for ten years and it's amazing how orders that I used to reserve so much time for - are now just the tiniest blip on my radar. Keep at it.

And you learn tip saving tips by trial and error.
I remember thinking I had to bake the cakes, make the icing, level and fill the cake, ice it and decorate it all in the same day.
Now I make the icing a couple of days in advance. Bake the cakes early and freeze them.
Use the day before to level, fill and rough ice the cake. I get a good night's sleep and all that is left is the fun stuff on the morning of delivery.

It gets easier. Just keep reading on CC and keep plugging along until you build up speed.
