Hi everyone! Opening up another session of the FNCC! I'm opening it up a bit early because, once again, I have a delivery. Actually I have 2 deliveries and both are out of town...about 2 hours out of town!

I had two projects this week. One, the money paying one, was a "turntable" cake. I was pretty happy with it and hoping the clients husband is thrilled when I deliver it tonight!

The other is for my grandson's 1st birthday. I made up 63 individually packaged "giraffe" cupcakes and a 7/4 cake for the family dinner later in the day. The 4inch is his smash cake but we are presenting the whole thing as a stacked cake. Our daughter is having at a movie theater..they are rather inexpensive to rent out if you go with early hours. Since she knew she was expecting 60 people to this party she wanted something fun for everyone to do...this should be a blast! I'll post photos on my blog on Monday.

So I'll be on the road for about the next 3 hours with the deliveries and then I'll check back in here to see who stopped by and who is working on what!

Wow, I actually got to visit the Friday night crew! I finished a baby shower cake, 75th birthday cake and 2 dozen cupcakes today. Got to more for tomorrow pickup plus catering a bridal shower, then a wedding cake tasting. Busy times!!

I'm working on a cake for my friend's baby's baptism. I still have no idea how I'm going to decorate it...I guess I need to figure that out pretty soon!

Oh wow, first time on the Friday night club. Just finished a bridal shower cake. Light blue icing, hibiscus flowers, chocolate seashells, Adirondack chair, flip flops, towel, umbrella and palm trees. Tomorrow is a taste test and Sunday another shower cake. This time - eggplant purple roses sprinkled with dark purple disco dust, theme is bling and lace. My wedding season begins next week and doesn't stop till mid November. Here we go.................

First time posting on Friday Night Forum! I love reading what everyone is up to! I just baked some cupcakes to attempt a Flower Pot bouquet tomorrow for a fellow employee at my husbands work who is having a House Warming party tomorrow. I made the Fluffy buttercream recipe on here, hoping it works out okay as flowers!
I also am *suppose* to be working on a NY Rangers Hockey cake (due monday) a cake shaped/decorated as a package of 5 Gum (still pondering how to do that one!) and working on some small flowers for a bridal shower cake due Sunday!

I have decided to sleep and rest. It's already midday Saturday here. I slept early too, around 7pm. I overworked and deprived myself of sleep over a long period of time my body could not take it anymore. This weekend I will work on flowers for upcoming cakes. At a relaxed pace. Thank you for listening.

Well, once I got to the stopping point on my trip I had no access to online! So I'm just not being able to get back here! Sounds like everyone had a great week! But my deliveries went well, my grandsons party was simply wonderful and I thought I had a week off this week...but I had a client call with a simple cake for Friday. Delivery will be right before I take off with my son for a Boy Scouts camp out. I'll check in here before we actually leave tho!
