I am making a Bust, and would like to know what type of support I should use for the head, which is made of RKT? I was thinking either 2 dowels from the head into the bottom of the cake or maybe PVC up through the bottom of the cake into the head. Does anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions?

Hi....

If you think of the top piece, it needs to have a support. You can have a centre dowel but something needs to sit between the shoulders and the neck to support the neck and the shoulders. Something like a connector.

Your cake board for the head should rest on the connector and not put all its weight directly on the tier below it, but rather rest its weight onto the connector. I dont know if you understand what I mean here.
