I was asked to do a cake for a charity cake auction. I want to do a chevron pattern out of fondant using 2 or 3 colors. Does anyone know of a tutorial? Thanks!

The only non-sloppy ones I've seen are done using edible image on top of the fondant. Just google "chevron pattern" and look at the images. If you don't have your own printer you could print it out on regular paper, take it to your local supermarket bakery and have them print it for you.

Sooooo easy! Just time consuming. I like to use the large razor blades for straight cutting like this. Print out a pattern like this, make your first cuts, and pull the pattern down until it's where you want it, and cut again. There's your chevron stripe. Easy peasy.

Thank you both for you help! I don't have an edible printer so I think I'll try printing out the pattern and cutting all the pieces icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the pattern! It's the right size too.
