Please help! Can I put an edible image on crusted buttercream? I so hope I can because I can't get the cake perfect looking without using the Viva towels first. Does anyone know? I'm going to be putting it on soon. Thanks!

Sure. Are you planning a border around the EI? If yes, then just lay it on and pipe on the border.

Other alternatives are to mist the area with water before applying the image or to attach the imaged to moistened THIN fondant then to the cake.

Yes, I do it all the time. I always let my icing crust first, then smooth it with Viva and then put on my edible and smooth over it with Viva. Works great!
