It appears our local health department hasn't heard of the Oregon Cottage food law. I've looked on line and what I find is no mention of Cottage food law. It states licensing , inspections, fees, construction . I'm not looking to turn my house into a bakery. Just would like to do a few cakes and at least get back what I spend in products plus a little something for my time. . Anyone in Oregon under this law that can shed the light for me please. I don't plan on big business. Just want to do occasional cakes for hobby purpose . But I do want to follow the rules.

thanks for any help.
Ps. I've been to the ODA food safety , gov program .... all that stuff.

please feel free to PM me .
