Is it a 12x18 and 8" ball?

If I wanted to scale it and do a 9x13 cake, would I use a 6" ball?

Algebra? I think I remember taking that in school, many years ago.......

I came out with 5.8 inches, so the 6 inch ball should be fine on a 9 x 13 cake.
