I have a groomscake to do this weekend that is supposed to be camo. i ordered some camo wafer sheets online. This is my first time using them. Anyhow I got An email saying there had been a problem and the sheets came out with a slightly purple tint. There was also a picture. I forwarded the email to the bride and she said they looked ok to go ahead and order I did. my question is this. will chocolate icing darken them up some? Anyway to fix it?

Purple camo? hmmm . . . You can spread a thin layer - and I mean thin - over the outside to slightly change the color. I don't know exactly what color to suggest.

But the real issue is that you do know you can't really cut through wafer paper after it goes on the cake? You'd didn't order icing sheets maybe?
