Does anyone know if SMBC can be used when making a FBCT? I've made transfers before using regular BC but I haven't tried it with SMBC. I've only been using SMBC for the past couple of years and prefer it over BC. TIA

I see no reason that it would not work. The only issue for me would be that SMBC does not take color as well as American Buttercream.
