Very strange - all my powdered sugar tastes stale! Had some 1/2 opened bags in a ziplock, then tried 2 NEW bags and they were all 'off '.
Has anyone else run into this? I've had that stuff in my pantry for years and never had it taste funny! Maybe it was a bad batch. Don't remember where I got them - I shop at 3 or 4 different grocery stores. Rogers is the brand names.

Rogers Icing sugar is just powdered sugar and cornstarch. It does not seem to contain anything else. As sugar has an indefinite shelf life, and corstarch stores for 24 months, being "off" may eventuate is stored too long. What's the use-by-date ?Try contacting the company quoting numbers from the packaging ..
