I need to make a gift box cake that looks like it has a lid on it. I have no problem w/ the cake itself
but I was wondering if anyone knows of any tutorials that show how to make a nice lid. I've been
on several sites and they all seem to skip by the lid making part. TIA!

Google Pink Cake box shoe box tutorial, it's in part 2. I think she uses styrofoam, I've used cake in the past for the lid. I'm sure you can apply the same concept for a gift box. HTH
