i had a vanilla cak recipe i love ...but every time i make cupcakes, they either sink, explode, or do both at the same time. so im thinking of testing a new recipe for vanilla cupcakes, my old one had 1 tablespoon of McCormick Vanilla Butter Nut Extract. And this new recipe says 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Is it okay to put the 1 tablespoon of McCormick in instead...without messing up the new recipe? seems like a simple question...but just making sure! thanks!

Yeah why not? Extracts don't affect the science of a recipe. They are merely there for flavoring.
