I was asked to make a specific harley davidson motorcycle out of fondant for a cake topper I have no idea where to start, Doe anyone know of any tutorials that show step by step instruction? If I don't get this i will have to turn down the cake!

Any help is greatly appreciated

Can you suggest you make it out of Skulpy instead. It's much more forgiving than fondant which takes a boat load of time to harden and once you baked the Skulpy bike in the oven, the groom can save it forever. Another way to get an almost exact copy is to borrow a small bike replica the groom may have - purchase some food safe modeling compound from your local large craft store (Magic Mold) - remove the handle bars and make a mold of the bikes body. Then press the skulpy or gumpaste into the mold and add the handle bars, bake and paint, bingo, done.
