I make my own marshmallow fondant and want to know how early I can start making my fondant? How long is it good for? What's the best way to soften the fondant? The microwave for a few seconds?
I use Rhonda's ultimate MMF and it has nothing perishable in it so I keep it in the pantry. I find that after about 4 mths it starts to taste stale. Yep, just pop it in the microwave for maybe 10 seconds to soften. I do it 5 sec intervals so it doesn't overheat ( then you get air bubbles).
