A Not-To Sweet Buttercream?

looking for a buttercream receipe that isnt to sweet and that will crust. its for a 3 tier cake 10", 8", 6" if you could also tell me how much i would need for this size cake.please help...cheers

i use the buttercream dream recipe and if it is too sweet like when i only have un salted butter i add 1/4tsp salt. salt helps take the sweetness out

IMBC or SMBC taste like melted vanilla ice cream (when flavoured with vanilla of course), they are not sickly sweet. Do a search, there are countless threads on them.
