Does anyone have a great recipe for butter pecan cake that can be used for a wedding cake? And a great cream cheese frosting (white) recipe that will crust? Thanks in advance! icon_razz.gif

I made a super easy, delicious butter pecan cake from a recipe I found on CC.
1 bx Butter Pecan cake mix, 1 container coconut pecan frosting, 4 eggs, 3/4 cp oil, 1cp water,
1 cp chop'd pecans. (I omitted the chop'd pecans because I felt there was enough between the
cake mix and frosting.)
Just mix it all together, including frosting and bake! People loved this cake! Sooo easy.

I use "Decorators Cream Cheese" recipe which I found here also. HTH

Use my *original* WASC recipe with a butter pecan mix. If you can't find that flavor mix, use a fr. vanilla and add 1/3 cup chopped pecans along w/the other ingredients.
BTW: BP was one of the most ordered flavors of cake when I had my shop.
