Decided to make this shoe with some spare paste I had left over from making hearts for a cupcake wedding cake for next weekend.
I was inspired by Kylie (sweet_as_tisse) to make a tiny shoe, and by Camille (lilthorner) to make something open toe with straps : )
thanks gals
Also thanks to Tash (tashjeffery) for the gorgeous butterfly mold.
cheers

i love the straps and butterfly and that green is just the prettiest color.....
you really dont know how tiny these shoe's are until you make one. Do you?

That is so cute, yet beautiful! Great job!
Nati,
Not surprised at all at how fantastic that is! Oh and by the way, I am so excited at your new web site! Awesome! It is at the top of my bookmarks. I just so love you! Thanks again!
How precious is that? Perfect cupcake sized! ![]()
Goodness, imagine making that many... makes me tired thinking of it... ![]()
Watch out Barbie, you will be wearing edible shoes soon. Love the tiny toes holders.
Boy is that tiny, Nati!! I love it! Do you just scale down your template?
Rhonda
Thanks ![]()
I actually didnt use a template for this one, i dont use templates for my shoes because i've never made more than one, so there was no need to keep them consistent. I made a template for the pink shoe to help with the tutorial, but it was cut freehand first and then the piece put on paper and drawn on, hehehe, back to front actually ; )
I would probably use a template if i was making two shoes so that they'd be the same size and shape ; )
But I find it quicker to do the shoes freehand than to cut the paper etc.
BUT that being said there is no reason why the template reduced in size wouldnt work, only the support couldnt be used because the heel on this one is a lot higher than the support allows. Because the shoe is so small i just used a small ball of saran wrap to hold up the sole while i was putting up the front. It actually dried very quickly being so small.
Thanks to everyone else for the kind comments.
Very very cute! BTW...I peeked into your website. Very chic and informative. Next time I'm in Australia.....
Irene, I will have a cup of tea and cake waiting just for you, would love to meet ya!!! Who knows, i got a cousin in NJ, you may see me over there one fine day ![]()

My husband has told me off several times for messing with my business website, i just couldnt leave it alone and kept changing it and changing it. Now i have this instructions website to mess with, I can leave the business one alone so that customers dont think i've got "cantleavemywebsitealoneitis"

Nati, I love the shoe!!! It is so cute and dainty. I love the straps so much. Will have to give that one a try. I have yet to post the ones I made for practice. But I am not even close to what you have! You go, girl!!!!

that shoe is too cute. is the template on cc??
HI there
There is a template for "a" shoe attached to the tutorial on the front page, i think it's about third or fourth from the top in the Articles section.
Following that template you "should" be able to make this one, but i didnt use the template, i just made this shoe freehand.
cheers
Nati
