I am just getting into scratch baking and mix adjusting and so far not pleased with the scratch that I have tried. People swear by it...yet they are not moist and dry out almost over night. Which is such a waste.
However I just bought a new book I found on line by accident. Just out. It is called PIECE OF CAKE!

It is a beautiful book.. many recipies and directions and photos. There are some very odd recipies for savory
cakes and then some regular cakes. I haven't tried any yet as I just got the book last night but plan to try one tomorow. I like the idea of one bowl, and no mixer... we will see. Will let you know how they come out.. and if anyone else has tried something from this book please let me know.

I have the book but haven't tried any recipes from it. Let us know how it works out for you
