I wanted to share a picture of the 18 X 26" cake I made for my grandpa's 90th birthday. Please delete my thread if I am doing something wrong by posting about it icon_redface.gif I asked a lot of pesky questions so I wanted to have something to show for all of your advice LOL. As a novice cake decorator who does a couple cakes a year for occasions, I am proud of how it turned out. It was the first time I ever made and worked with MMF. I enhanced it with gum-tex to make all the sculptures. Everything is MMF except the bridge, fish and fishing pole. I could have done those as well if I had more time. I had no idea how time consuming these things were icon_surprised.gif The icing is a homemade buttercream. It was my first time using a grass tip as well. That was fun! I added three colors of green to the bag for a more realistic effect. I wish I could have posted another picture or two of the details but I think we are only allowed to post one.
