I have never dipped my cupcakes in ganache before and my niece would like them for her birthday. If I make the cupcakes Saturday evening for her birthday party on Sunday afternoon will they be ok? Or will they get soggy? Also what is the best way to store them overnight?

Thank you

Hi

I havent done this with cupcakes before BUT
I dont think that they would get soggy overnight bc ganache dries kind of hard and you can store them in a plastic cupcake container BUT only after the ganache has harden.

I prefer to dip vs. fill my ganache cupcakes. They will be fine. We forgot about some cupcakes I made for Father's Day and my daughter got them out three weeks later, let them come to room temp, and ate them. The ganache actually sealed in all of the moisture and they were still ok. Not great, but ok for a hungry teenager.
