I'll be using this recipe for a cake. What would be a good filling?

Root Beer Float - macsmom
2 boxes white cake mix
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 2/3 cup root beer
2 c vanilla yogurt
8 egg whites
1/4 oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 oz CK Rootbeer concentrated flavoring (or 3 drams LoRann rootbeer flavor, or 4 tsp of Schillings root beer extract. A little anise extract might be a good kick, too!)

If the cake tastes like root beer, you could fill with vanilla SMBC. I think it tastes like vanilla ice cream!

yep, I would go with a vanilla also. Or rootbeer filling with vanilla frosting. Sounds great! icon_biggrin.gif

I love making this cake! Sometimes I fill it with vanilla custard!
