I can't find it on here for the life of me, but a few weeks ago I saw these cupcakes - SO gorgeous. Soft pastel yellow icing on the cupcake, and the only decoration on top were a fondant/gumpaste flower in another pastel shade with gilded edges, a lilly/cornhusk style veining on the petals, and mini white/gold dragees sprinkled in the center for the stamen effect.
Something about gilding a simple flower that just gives it the most gorgeous hand painted antique jewelry effect. I wish I could find it in the galleries. >_< Maybe someone will know what I'm talking about...
