I am making a snitch cake in a couple of weeks, and I am now wondering how to do the wings. What did you end up doing for them?

AI think the gelatin with gold luster dust would amazing! Make a thin frame from extruded 100% gum paste and let it dry for a day, then use that to put the gelatin in. You can use wire if you don't have to have it edible.
