Hello All... I am making a number one cake for my nephews 1st birthday. I will be imprinting the fondant with the Wiltons Happy Birthday Imprint Mat and was wondering how do I color in the imprints. Should I use buttercream or should I use the edible markers? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

The imprint is very deep and stands out very well without coloring it in. I've brushed some pearl dust over it and it highlights the impressions.

On the Wilton site, they suggest that you use tip 1 and tinted icing to fill in imprinted designs.
