I was asked to do a Lion King themed cake for a relative's baby shower. I found this figurine I want to recreate. I'm not sure how to go about it. I was thinking to carve Simba's main body out of cake, then make the paws, tail, ears, and leaf with rice krispies. Are there any other ways to do it? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thats really adorable if you can pull it off. My concern would be the leaf more than Simba...its hard to cut RKT that thin and then get it to stay molded...maybe someone more experienced can give you some pointers on that. Your idea is great though! I did see this other photo of Simba on a leaf that might be a bit easier to recreate if youre interested...not sure how to insert a photo but when you click the link, look for "simba sleeping on a leaf" about halfway down the page
