Can someone suggest the best way to attach a gelatin piece to gumpaste? I am making a gelatin wine glass (on top) with gumpaste stem. I would usually use water as 'glue', but this will break down the gelatin.
Thanks!

I use piping gel. You can use some of the gelatin too (while it's liquid).

Can I paint the inside of the gelatin glass with lemon extract and gel color ( to look like wine) or will the extract break down the gelatin?
Thanks

You're going to have a fragile connection, at best. A very light layer of piping gel works for me.
How much water was in the gelatin? The more water, the more the gelatin will shrink which can cause problems at the glue point.

okay... FYI to anyone interested: tried this and it works much better on the OUTSIDE of the glass. I used vodka because it evaporates the most
