I have a quick question - I am planing to make this wedding cake for my friend and she requested to arrange the cake on top of one of the following cupcake stand for 250 serving

any ideas on how to build this stand or where to buy Styrofoam block in this size with a cheap price?

You know what I would do. Make the boxes out of foamcore board then cover with stickyback paper like the white papers used to line kitchen drawers with - you can find rolls of it in big stores like WalMart.
