I'm making my first tiered cake for delivery in a few weeks. IN the past I've only made tiered cakes for friends and family and have MacGyvered a cake board using whatever trays, etc. I have had lying around. Could you guys help out as far as how to make a pretty cake board for presentation? I'll be making a 3-tiered cake with 12", 9" and 6" layers, so it'll be pretty heavy. Just wondering where you get your supplies, whether you use wood, contact paper, etc? I know I've seen posts on here in the past about this but I just can't seem to find them now that I need 'em!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Buy cake drums. I get mine from Global Sugar Art. They are really sturdy.
