hello! how do i make bullet holes effect on walls/on cakes?
any tips/ideas would be highly appreciated...

Couldn't you just use a small round something (dowel rod?) to poke holds in the cake?

Bullet holes tear and rip through things so I would pull at the edges of the round cut area a bit to make it look a bit jagged. Then take some dark gray or black mixed with white dusting powder and dab it around the edges to look like gunpowder burns.

Nope, dusting powder. Just a dab around the hole to denote the burn of gunpowder.
