hi all!

when i mix the gold or silver highlighter in with vodka or vanilla extract, it seperates from the liquid. I try painting letters with it on fondont or gumpaste and it just seperates. I stir it constantly, but no luck. It makes it so difficult to paint.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or have this problem with this? Thanks for any help.

You are not using enough dust - OR to put it another way you have added too much liquid for the amount of dust.
If you just let it sit uncovered it will evaporate and thicken up icon_smile.gif There is a very delicate balance needed and once it is reached you must work quickly. Good thing is when it get too thick all one has to do is add another drop of vodka and get back to work icon_smile.gif
