I have completed my RI snowflakes (minimal breakage!) and will be icing my cupcakes soon. I'm afraid that even a minimal amount of pressure on the snowflakes to make them "stick" to the icing will cause the snowflakes to crack. Any tips on attaching these successfully? Should I use more RI as a glue? Will that stick to the bc well? Also, will the bc cause the RI to break down and become gooey? Should I wait until the last minute to attach the snowflakes or will it hold up well?

Press on them in the middle rather than at the edges. I think ri does break down on bc eventually, but it takes hours. Still, I would only put them on the day of. I have not been able to find a reliable time line for ri on bc, but it's nit like kryptonite or anything. You don't have to serve it immediately or anything. Hth icon_smile.gif
