I recently made a large owl and two baby owls by using the wilton 3-d bear pan. I removed the ears but you could leave them on for some owls and just shape them into more pointed ears. I used the baby bear for the baby owls. I made them for a birthday party for a one year old. The baby owls were for the one year old and his older brother.
I rounded the feet to form the lower part of the body and trimmed the arms on the front down so they did not show. Everyone loved them.
I had them sitting of a tree stump.
