My almost 2 year old has just got her hands on some lovely plum dusting powder and emptied a full pot all over the carpet (light beige!). I know i shouldn't have left it in her reach but does anyone have any bright ideas how to get it out? I've hoovered up the worst of it, but am still left with quite a mess and am a little afraid to add water!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Try talcum powder or baking soda - dust it over the spots of dusting powder, leave for a couple of hours and hoover up. Don't know if it works with dusting powder though.
