Hi CCer's,

I am in deperate need of a eggless chocolate cake recipe. I have tried a few recipes and they all seem to come out either falling apart or too hard on the out side and really silky on the inside icon_cry.gif . Just wanted to see if any of you have a favorite recipe that you could share with me. Cake is due on sunday, so any help is appreciated! icon_biggrin.gif

1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp vinegar
5 tbsp oil
1 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 8" round pan lined with paper.
In a large mixing bowl, mix GF flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
Mix water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla in a bowl or jug. Pour over the dry ingredients, and stir until mixed. BATTER WILL BE THIN.
Bake 25-28 minutes. Check if done before removing.
Cake will be fragile while hot: Stand 10 minutes before turning out ..
