I've started using Satin Ice, which I really like. But this got me thinking about other fondants. I tried Choco-Pan, which was yummy! Now I want to try Fondarific but when I looked online, it seemed very expensive. Does this stretch further than Satin Ice? $34 for a 5lb bucket seems steep! I paid $24 for a 5 lb bucket of Satin Ice and since I got it from a store (versus online), I didn't have to pay shipping. Just wondering if it's worth it. Opinions?

Yes, you can roll it very thin and it is very forgiving and easy to repair. The taste is the best of all the premade fondants on the market. Easy to work with in my opinion. It is the only brand I use.

Thanks! I found a place on Amazon that gives free shipping and it's $10 cheaper too. I think I'll try some and see if I like it. I could have kicked myself for waiting so long to try Satin Ice. It was so easy to use. Just would like some variety.
