One of my friends daughters is having the Doctor peak for the sex and then NOT tell them - Seal it in an envelope, so only I get to open! - I then get to make a cake and fill with either Pink or Blue filling - Everyone will know at the same time if they are having a boy or girl! TOO FUN!!!

I did one of those cakes a few weeks ago, it was a beautiful cake! Unfortunately it never made it to the party, it slid off the cakeboard onto the floor! Upside down!

I did that for my nephew and his wife. She really wanted a girl and when she cut into the cake she cried when she saw the pink vanilla cream cheese filling.

They are called 'Gender reveal cakes' - carmijok has a cute one in her photos.

I also just did this for my son and his wife....but I made the color of the cake the sex of the baby. They were tickled "Pink" with the cake

I saw that on Cake Boss last night, What a great idea. I hope I get the chance to do that for someone. How excitting!

I'm doing my first gender reveal cake next week, for a friend of the family. The envelope is being delivered today, after the ultrasound. I'm so excited!
