I've only used them twice, but each time they didn't meld with the frosting, so when I went to cut the cake, it was like cutting through paper and nobody wanted to eat that! How do I get the image to melt into the frosting? Is it just more time that I need? Thinner frosting? I'm at a loss.

Are you using a crusting buttercream? If your buttercream has crusted, this can prevent the image from adhering. Try using a spray bottle of water to very lightly mist your cake before applying the edible image to the cake. It works great.

Maybe someone can answer this question. I need to make edible images for cupcakes in advance. I need to print my images and place on fondant circles Wed for cupcakes Saturday. Does anyone know how I can store these so that the fondant isn't dried out and hard? Thanks
