Help!!!

I'm making chocolate panels for the sides of a cake and I used acetate paper. After I put in the fridge, they hardened but the acetate curled, so instead of being flat panels to put against the side of a square, it's curled!!!!!

How can I fix this before it sets and curls again???

I'm pulling back from my culinary days but from what I recall, we put it in the fridge just for a few minutes to speed the setting up. However, if you are using chocolate and tempering it or coating chocolate, it can set up without the use of the fridge. How long are you leaving the panels in the fridge?

Once the chocolate is still soft but no longer tacky, flip the sheet over and put it on a flat surface like a sheet pan or a cutting board. Then put the whole thing in the fridge.
