Amount of sleeved pastry filling needed by cake size:

One sleeve of pastry filling = 3 cups:

Here's how far a sleeve of filling will go....

One 14" square

One 12" square

Then I mixed about 1/4 of a 2nd sleeve with some chocolate fudge icing to make chocolate-raspberry filling to use for:
One 6" round
One 14" square

I pipe a small dam and add filling that is just slightly more than 1/2 way up the height of the dam.

I've seen the question come up in threads before and thought it would be a good time to actually see how far it goes, and share with everyone.
