I am going to do the petal technique on the sides of a cake (pipe dots and swipe with spatula) and I'm wondering, I always use either Italian or Swiss buttercream (no icing sugar in recipes),
Will this technique look good with imbc or smbc?
Or should I use an American style buttercream?
Also can you spray luster spray on buttercream with no problems?
