Hi Natalie,

My older son LOVES this program.... Like don't even think of calling when the program's on!!!!

I decided to watch last week, caught the final hour; just in time to see LA nuked.

Have the receiver programmed to switch it on this evening, in case I forget.

Guess this will give us something more to talk about icon_smile.gif

I am a late bloomer and watched the first 4 seasons (after my sister mailed them too me and begged me to watch) the end of last year. I was instantly HOOOKED and rented season 5 and finished the day it premiered last week. icon_lol.gif

The is one of the best shows ever. I swear there's not a situation Jack can't get out of! I'm anxious to see what happens next since this bomb went off already.

Oh my! We love "Bauer Power' in our house too! This is my DH's ALL-TIME FAVORITE show!! If it's on TV, that is what we are watching. But, I can't say that I mind, Keifer is a pretty hot CTU agent!

I always feel like I need a tranqulizer or something after watching this show. It leaves you all wound up and stressed! lol

I can't believe Graham turned out to be his brother! That's going to be good...to see him find out his brother and father are apparently working against him and had a hand in him being imprisoned.

I'm still trying to buy Wayne as president. I miss David even though he was a little corny at times.

And I really miss Tony and Michelle.

I had never really watched the show (caught a couple of episodes when it first began). My mom and dad just raved about it, so I decided to give it a try since I could start from the beginning this year. I have been totally sucked into another show! It is sooo good. Now I have 3 favorite shows...Greys, Lost and now 24! I love good tv!

I, too, miss David Palmer as Pres, but Dennis Haysbert's new show (The Unit) is also quite good. It's full of action and also is a must see.

Ok, now how about House? You've got to love the doc's sarcasm.

Okay I am still a 24 newbie....but is it just me...that girl with the reddish hair, (what's her name? is it chloe?) She just has a strange face. More like she should be in comedy or something. I just dont think she is very good. Maybe it is just her strange facial expressions that get me icon_lol.gif

Merissa, is this the first season you've watched? If so, then I can understand your Chloe confusion. icon_lol.gif She does have the strangest facial expressions and acts weird but it's the character, believe me. She is not the Chloe (so far) that I came to love hysterically in the past 3 seasons. She was this nutty girl with absolutely no social skills and diarrhea of the mouth. icon_lol.gif She definitely did bring a bit of comedy to the show when her character was introduced.

They're trying to make her into this "bombshell" this year and I don't think it fits the character at all.

I also miss poor Edgar. He went out in such a sad way. Chloe and Edgar together was just comedy.

Logan was a rat!

OMG!!! I was screaming obscenities at the TV! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif Why did Graem have to be his brother? And I'm sorry, that boy is Jack's kid!! icon_confused.gif

And Chloe, she is an odd bird, but ya gotta love her. Yes, you hate her at first, because, yeah, those faces!!! icon_lol.gif But her character really does grow on you after time. And, Iron, I have to agree, I not sure what the whole sexpot thing is with her, but I can't buy it. Oh, and is she getting into drugs? What was she getting from Morris?

And did you see who was playing his dad? Cool! thumbs_up.gif

icon_cry.gif Hey you should put warning of "Spoilers" in the thread title! Dont know who "graham" is, don't want to know!
I haven't seen it yet (we are, as always, behind in the Land of Oz). I have watched every other season (the first season we had to watch in the record space of one week because it was on DVD from the library - talk about zero sleep and excess adrenaline).
Bauer is great, he makes torture seem like such an ... effective solution.

icon_lol.gif Grumpy puppy is such an accurate description.

And this new "bf" is supposed to be her exhusband? You'd never think she was married before.

I think it was last season that we found out that Morris was the ex. She needed his help for something so he showed up. Since this season is two years after the end of last season, she must have started dating him and getting him a job at CSU.

I miss edgar, he was the best with chloe. And yeah, chloe seemed a bit odd att first, but you gotta love her. I'm so sad that curtis DIED, still. I cried, seriously. And does anyone really trust that former terrorist guy...Ahmed I think is his name? I'm still pretty wary about him.
I can't wait until tomorrow's episode!!

Ah, Dr. Bashir! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif Looks better now than he did on Star Trek! icon_lol.gif For now, I'm okay with him, but as well all know this show could go absolutely anywhere--as soon as you like someone, they turn out to be the bad guy or vice versa...

Yes I still have a funny feeling about Assad. He's either going to turn on them or get killed by Fayed.

Man, I can't stand Tom. I hate that Karen gave into him like that, she should've told Wayne what was going on.

Speaking of Wayne, doesn't he always look like he's about to cry? icon_cry.gif

Aww Walid...I was hoping he wouldn't get hurt.

I hope Jack tortures the poop out of his brother. icon_lol.gif

DISCLAIMER: DONT READ IF YOU MISSED THE SHOW LAST NIGHT

I am so mad at myself!! I have a little cold so I took some nyquil before I started watching 24. I kept finding myself nodding off during the commercials and then I woke up to the news! I think I only missed 10 or 15 minutes. The last thing I really remember is Karen resigning...anything big happen after that?

Ironbaker Cake Central Cake Decorator Profile
Ironbaker Posted 30 Jan 2007 , 3:26pm

I think it would be safe to assume that this entire thread will be talking about the show in "real time"...maybe it can go in the title?

Hmm...anything big? When Karen resigned, I can't remember at what part we were at in regards to Jack and his brother. He took his brother to that office to try to find info, Jack got beat down by two men who were working for his father. His father stopped them and told them Jack was his son and he was OK. Jack convinced his father to let him find the man they were all looking for (can't remember his name) and then Graham/Gray says something like "I can't let you do that" and the two men that were supposedly working for their dad, turn on Jack and the dad. They were really working for Graham. Graham's an evil little twit...had the CTU agents standing by outside killed also.

So the last we saw of that, Jack and his father were being held by Graham and his bullies.

Walid got beat up...did you see that part? He was able to get the phone away from one of the guys but they found out before the FBI could pull him out of the undercover operation. He got beat pretty bad. Turns out those guys in the camp were only getting their info off of a public website...they weren't terrorists at all.

Thanks! boy I did miss a lot in the short time I was sleeping! Boo! I only put the Disclaimer on because I read a past post where someone mentioned that she hadnt seen the shows yet and was disappointed to find out what was happening! But I agree I think it safe to assume that we are talking "Real Time" when you enter the thread!

I hear ya!

I've done that too - fall asleep during the last 15 minutes of a show and miss everything. I get so mad! lol And it's usually a show like Law n Order where there's usually some twist at the end.

Who did what/when/where/why???
