Now that all these cake pop pans and machines have been put on the market, have you all changed from the original cake ball recipe (crumbled cake and a binder) to just pouring the batter and baking? Which way do you perfer? If you do the latter, has anyone filled them?

I still do the crumbs rolled up. It tastes better according to the people who've eaten both. And I hate the line the cake pop machine leaves on my cake balls.

I do both. I prefer the ones from the baby cake pop maker but the rest of the family likes the cumbs with frosty. I don't really have a problem with a line around the ones from the baby cake maker. You just have to make sure and get the right amout of batter and get the lid on straight.
