I have a question about pricing for packaging. I run a cookie business (new) and normally when I make cookies for people they are delivered in a box. I have been asked to quote for a wedding. The bride wants the cookies to be individually wrapped in bags (food safe) with a matching ribbon. How much extra do you charge? Do you charge enough to cover cost and time for doing this? Do you charge an extra dollar amount per cookie? I'm not really sure how much either. Thanks!

We charge 75 cents extra per cookie when customers request individual packaging tied with a simple ribbon. For us it works out to about 10 cents for materials, 50 cents for labor, and 15 cents profit per cookie for the packaging component.
